Role and responsibilities:

About the Role 

We are looking for a passionate Junior Animator to join our animation team at Juego studios. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of all animation principles. You will work on a variety of in-game and cinematic animations, contributing to compelling character actions, gameplay interactions, and immersive visual storytelling. 

Responsibilities 

  • Create high-quality 3D characters and creature animations for gameplay, cinematics, and cutscenes. 

  • Be able to create animations for visually stunning characters in both stylized and realistic styles. 

  • Work closely with Senior Animators, Riggers, Designers, and leads in bringing characters to life. 

  • Follow established animation pipelines, naming conventions, and file structures. 

  • Receive and integrate feedback effectively in iterative production cycles. 

  • Collaborate with other animators and designers to maintain visual consistency and quality. 

  • Take full ownership of all animations assigned and consistently meet delivery targets as set by the lead. 


 

Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • 1 to 3 Years of experience working as an animator in game or animation studios. 

  • A strong animation reel showcasing your skills. 

  • Proficiency in Maya. 

  • Experience working on atleast 1 published game. 

  • Good understanding of animation fundamentals and character performance. 

  • Ability to take directions, ask the right questions, and work in a team environment. 

  • Good communication and time management skills. 

Nice-to-Have: 

  • Experience with 3D Rigging. 

  • Experience with Spine rigging and animation. 

  • Experience with Blender, Unreal and Unity. 

  • Familiarity with mocap workflows. 

  • Good knowledge of technical animation tools.
