Art Director
Department: Modelling
Position: Art Director
Role and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Define and own the overall visual style, tone, and art direction of the AA+/AAA games
  • Create and maintain style guides, visual benchmarks, and art frameworks
  • Ensure gameplay readability, visual clarity, and UI/UX consistency
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Tech, and Production teams
  • Conduct art reviews, feedback sessions, and quality control processes
  • Align teams to maintain consistency across characters, environments, UI, and VFX
  • Define and improve art pipelines, workflows, and art production efficiency
  • Ensure assets meet performance constraints (polycount, textures, LODs, optimization)

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in game art with strong art direction ownership
  • Proven experience working on AAA or AA+ titles
  • Strong ownership of visual identity and art direction (not just execution)
  • Experience delivering projects from concept to final at par industry standards quality
  • Strong understanding of real-time production pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and/or Unity
  • Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional art teams
  • Understanding of UI/UX visual design principles

 

Good to Have

  • Experience across multiple art styles (realistic / stylized)
  • Exposure to live operations and post-launch content
  • Experience working with clients, outsourcing or distributed teams
  • Exposure to AI-driven art pipelines and willingness to adopt and integrate AI into production workflows is preferred.
