| Role and responsibilities: |
Key Responsibilities - Define and own the overall visual style, tone, and art direction of the AA+/AAA games
- Create and maintain style guides, visual benchmarks, and art frameworks
- Ensure gameplay readability, visual clarity, and UI/UX consistency
- Collaborate closely with Design, Tech, and Production teams
- Conduct art reviews, feedback sessions, and quality control processes
- Align teams to maintain consistency across characters, environments, UI, and VFX
- Define and improve art pipelines, workflows, and art production efficiency
- Ensure assets meet performance constraints (polycount, textures, LODs, optimization)
Required Skills & Experience- 10+ years of experience in game art with strong art direction ownership
- Proven experience working on AAA or AA+ titles
- Strong ownership of visual identity and art direction (not just execution)
- Experience delivering projects from concept to final at par industry standards quality
- Strong understanding of real-time production pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and/or Unity
- Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional art teams
- Understanding of UI/UX visual design principles
Good to Have- Experience across multiple art styles (realistic / stylized)
- Exposure to live operations and post-launch content
- Experience working with clients, outsourcing or distributed teams
- Exposure to AI-driven art pipelines and willingness to adopt and integrate AI into production workflows is preferred.
